An unknown, unexpected enemy has invaded our lives. It had confined us to our houses, in our most loved spaces and it has turned them into painful prisons. It has taken us away from the small pleasures, those that spin the happiness of our days and give them light. Those who speak of our humanity.

Days pass and the suffering accumulates behind the horizon of the buildings that form our streets. But while we look, while we resist, while we support those who are sick or scared and those who care and cure, those who deliver the newspapers, run the pharmacies, keep our markets well stocked, we have also discovered something that perhaps we had forgotten: that fighting is what makes us men and women, it is what keeps us alive, it is what shows our intelligence and our soul.

We fight to get ahead, so that the horizon of the road does not dissipate, to make others happy, so that our way of life does not fall apart. So that we do not lose our taste for beauty, for knowledge, for the pleasure of being alive. These are our values, the same ones of Alberta La Grup, the same ones that have made us a first-class Lifestyle Agency. The same ones that define our professionals as Personal Angels, much more than Personal Assistants. Because we have wanted them to become guardians, to be aware of all the little details.

Help, beautify, solve, obtain.

That’s the job of Alberta La Grup. That’s why we remember so much about those who are fighting on the front lines in this crisis. We see them from afar admired, hopeful, powerless, like so many citizens. But also with an underground complicity. They save lives. We try to ensure that order and beauty envelopes our clients’ lives. It is something small in comparison, but we will continue in our work, because beauty is also part of happiness. And happiness will come when we can cross the threshold of our doors and embrace our loved ones again. And when we can applaud, in person, our heroes, whom we admire so much, from whom we have learned so much.

The American poet Robert Frost saw several of his children and his wife die and worked tirelessly to bring his family through. His life simply followed, and he survived by walking straight ahead, never losing heart.

Apoyo en el camino

Un enemigo ignorado, insospechado, ha invadido nuestras vidas. Nos ha confinado en nuestras casas, en nuestros espacios más queridos, y los ha convertido en dolorosas prisiones. Nos ha alejado de los pequeños placeres, aquellos que hilan la felicidad de nuestros días, que les dan luz. Aquellos que hablan de nuestra humanidad.

Los días pasan, el sufrimiento se acumula detrás del horizonte de los edificios que forman nuestras calles. Pero mientras miramos, mientras resistimos, mientras apoyamos a los que enferman o están asustados y a los que cuidan y curan, a los que reparten los periódicos, atienden las farmacias, mantienen nuestros mercados bien surtidos, también hemos descubierto algo que quizá teníamos olvidado: que luchar es lo que nos convierte en hombres y mujeres, es lo que nos mantiene vivos, lo que muestra nuestra inteligencia y nuestra alma.

Luchamos para salir adelante, para que el horizonte del camino no se disipe, para hacer felices a los otros, para que nuestra forma de vida no se deshaga. Para no perder el gusto por la belleza, por el conocimiento, por el placer de estar vivos. Estos son nuestros valores, los mismos de Alberta La Grup, los mismos que nos han convertido en una agencia de Estilo de Vida de primer nivel. Los mismos que definen a nuestros profesionales como Personal Angels, mucho más que Personal Assistants. Porque hemos querido que se conviertan en custodios, que estén pendientes de todos los pequeños detalles.

Ayudar, embellecer, solucionar, conseguir.

Ese es el trabajo de Alberta La Grup. Por eso nos acordamos tanto de los que luchan en primera línea en esta crisis. Les vemos desde lejos admirados, esperanzados, impotentes, como tantos ciudadanos. Pero también con una subterránea complicidad. Ellos salvan vidas. Nosotros procuramos que el orden y la belleza envuelvan las de nuestros clientes. Es algo pequeño en comparación, pero seguiremos en nuestra labor, porque la belleza también forma parte de la felicidad. Y la felicidad llegará cuando podamos cruzar los umbrales de nuestras puertas y volver a abrazar a nuestros seres queridos. Y cuando podamos aplaudir, en persona, a nuestros héroes, a los que admiramos tanto, de los que tanto hemos aprendido.

El poeta norteamericano Robert Frost vio morir a varios de sus hijos y a su esposa y trabajó incansablemente para sacar a su familia adelante. Le sucedió simplemente la vida, a la que sobrevivió caminando de frente, sin desfallecer.
